Increase digital competencies
Digital Hub Management and Fraunhofer IML jointly support companies from the region in the fields of smart logistics and value networks at the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ruhr-OWL. The Center for Entrepreneurship & Transfer and TU concept GmbH provide access to the latest innovations and knowledge from TU Dortmund University as well as the region's talents and start-ups. With TZ Net and WFG Kreis Unna, contacts with local companies are now being further expanded, the realization of ideas and cooperations promoted and the network extended. Fraunhofer IML and TU Dortmund are partners in internationally significant projects such as the “Innovation Lab Hybrid Services in Logistics” or the “Silicon Economy.”
Digital Hub Logistics as EDIH-DO
Since autumn 2022, the Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund has been a European innovation center and bears the "European Digital Innovation Hub Dortmund" seal. The aim of the "Digital Hub Logistics as EDIH-DO" is to increase the dissemination, acceptance and adoption of digital technologies and their successful application for the development of product, process and business model innovations by SMEs.
